This is a beautiful, ornately decorated oval platter signed Franco Mari, Deruta, Italy. The piece is hand painted in the traditional Italian majolica style. The platter is in excellent vintage condition with no signs of wear. It appears that the platter was only used for display, not for serving. The platter measures 15" long and 11.5" wide.
